As Business Systems Coordinator at a medical device start-up company I wore many different hats and gained experience in many areas and aspects of the medical industry and startup world. My main responsibility consisted of assisting with and implementing quality control, document control, conducting internal audits, and developing procedures. I adapted to many different roles as needed by the company such as taking on administrative, HR, and accounting duties.
Grand Circus in Detroit is the place I learned a majority of my coding skills. While I enjoy self-learning, Grand Circus provided the opportunity to gain experience with pair programming and to learn and work with other developers.
I majored in marketing from WMU in Kalamazoo and believe it is a great background to have as a front-end developer. Improving user experience and ease of use is always a main goal of mine. My knowledge of marketing and consumer behavior helps me stay focused on ensuring the end users wants and needs are met.
Here are a few of the applications I've worked on thus far and projects that have helped me develop my skills.

The application uses IBM's artificial intelligence, Watson, personality insights API to analyze the text and reveals insights into the candidate's cognitive and social characteristics.
